In order for us to gauge visitor traffic and continue to upgrade ourselves to satisfy the most current needs of our customers, we collect non-personally identifiable information on this site. This includes, but is not limited to, browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site and page access times.

 

If you choose to provide your phone and email details to contact us, you may be subject to communications and marketing materials from our internal communications team. Our internal team is bound by confidentiality agreements to protect your  information from external use.

 

When accessing third-party delivery services, please be sure to check their own privacy policy as they are independent of and not under the responsibility of Marae Izakaya.

 

Payments for Marae Izakaya’s website are also processed through Square. Please refer to their privacy policy available at https://squareup.com/au/en/legal/general/privacy.

Terms & Conditions
 

Online Order:

Customers are strictly informed that all purchases should be consumed within 1 day of pick up. If ordering to pick-up, please be sure to arrive at the designated time.

 

Payment Transaction:

Credit card transactions are conducted through the Stripe payment system and designated to: MY MARAE Pty Ltd. 

Credit card numbers are not stored on our servers to ensure your security. Please refer to Stripe’s own terms and conditions for further information of credit card information storage.

 

Order Cancellation:

Please ensure that all details on your online order are correct before submission as once you have submitted, no changes are permitted. If a mistake has been made please contact us at Marae Izakaya as soon as possible to see if amendments are possible. 

If you decide to cancel on the same day and at least 2 hours before the pick up time, a cancellation fee of $20.00 will apply. Marae Izakaya will refund, net of cancellation fee, to your nominated card. 

Please note that cancellations are not accepted from two hours before the pick up time and you will still be charged the total of the order.

If you are not present to collect the goods at the address and time given in your order, we will not refund you and you will be charged the full amount of your order.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges:

Refunds, returns or exchanges after collection are not permissible due to a change of mind.

Refunds, returns or exchanges after collection will only be allowed if the product is damaged due to handling by Marae Izakaya up until the point of collection or if there is an issue with food safety.

 

Please notify Marae Izakaya at [include email or phone number] as soon as possible about faults in the product with supporting images and we will organise a return to the store.

 

Please note that returns, refunds and exchanges can only be authorised within a two hour period after original collection as customers are strictly notified that our food must be consumed within 2 hours for food safety reasons. 

 

If you are not present to collect the goods at the address and time given in your order, we will not refund you and you will be charged the full amount of your order.

 

Once your approved return is received and inspected, we will advise you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange and the next steps.  

 

In the case of an approved refund, the purchase price of the specific item will automatically be refunded to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

In the case of an approved exchange, we will attempt to make and organise a pickup of the new items within 7 days. 

 

Allergens Information:

Please note that Marae Izakaya does not cater to gluten-free dietary requirements. For orders that require special allergen care, an order should be placed to Marae Izakaya and we will endeavour to provide an allergen-free alternative. However, due to cross-contamination during store operations, we cannot guarantee 100% that our products are allergen free. 

 

 

Subject to law, Marae Izakaya will not be liable for any costs, fees, claims, damages, charges whatsoever, including medical and dental costs, if a customer has any adverse reaction to a product sold through a Marae Izakaya store.
